Local dentist survives deadly boating accident off N.J. coast

Updated throughout. Dr. Kevin Hogan, a dentist in Mount Pleasant, was aboard a 44-foot sailboat when it began to sink, killing one person.

The ship had been caught in rough swells of 40-to-50 feet.
