Myrtle Beach dermatologist addresses FDA sunblock regulations

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced today that sunscreen products meeting modern standards for effectiveness may be labeled with new information to help consumers find products that reduce the risk of skin cancer.

But local dermatologist Dr. Robert Bibb of Waccamaw Dermatology says that these regulations aren't good enough and people don't use nearly enough sunscreen. WPDE has a great write-up on what surprising information Dr. Bibb had to share. Read it here.
