Right whales have a good year producing 39 calves

Florida's Marine Resources Council is reporting that North Atlantic right whales have had a record-breaking year for the most calves born. 39.

Charleston is on the edge of the whales' calving grounds, and the endangered status of the whale has lead to increased restriction on Charleston port activity.
