At Wednesday's meeting, James Island Town Council voted 5-0 to oppose Interstate 526's planned extension through the town.

So, what's next? The S.C. DOT will present a set of alternatives at West Ashley High School on April 30 starting at 5 p.m. The school is at 4060 Wildcat Boulevard.
