Democratic primary elections hit Charleston Saturday

South Carolina Democrats will hold their primary elections on Saturday, January 28th, as they reorganize their precincts.
While President Barack Obama has no Democrat challenger, there are still plenty of meetings that will take place. And Charlestons Democrats can place their vote for Obama along with party precinct officers.
Meetings will take place at the following locations on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until noon. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
- Burke High School Cafeteria, Fishburne Side, 244 President St.
- Olive Branch AME Church, 1734 U.S. Highway 17 North
- Fort Johnson Middle School, 1825 Camp Road
- Orange Grove Elementary School, 1225 Orange Branch Road
Meetings will take place at the following locations on Saturday, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m.
- Felix Pinckney Community Center, 4764 Hassell Ave.
- Wesley United Methodist Church 2718 River Road
- Wesley United Methodist Church, 5100 Baptist Hill Road
Berkeley County Democrats can attend meetings at Berkeley Intermediate School in Moncks Corner (777 Stoney Landing Road) at 9 a.m. on March 3rd.
