At a meeting held by the S.C. Progressive Network on Tuesday in North Charleston, it wasn't hard to find folks of any race or either party pushing for early voting in South Carolina.

Early voting is the same as our state's absentee voting, only you have to have a reason why you’re voting early. -- That means you have to lie and say you’ll be out of town to vote early.

A Facebook group in support of early voting, South Carolinians for Early Voting, has drawn some 127 members.
