Understanding why college tuition is rising so fast in South Carolina

I think most of us know the long and short of it: South Carolina funds public higher education a lot less than many other states, so while we don't pay for college on our taxes, we do pay when kids go to school.

But given the recent talk about blocking "excessive" rises in tuition, The Post and Courier took some time to breakdown the state of college tuition in the Palmetto State and reactions.
