Boeing has invested $1 million in a MUSC Children's Hospital children's center that will focus on nutrition, exercise, and good health.

The center will be called the Boeing Center for Promotion of Healthy Lifestyles in Children and Families and will eventually serve over 8,000 children and their families. However, approximately 47,000 kids and 8,000 adults are estimated to benefit from the changes that will occur in the community thanks to the center. While it will be located and managed from the hospital, it will conduct activities in local schools and other community sites.

For more information about what to expect from the center, check out The Post and Courier's brief here.
