C of C stalling public release of president Benson's performance evaluation
The College of Charleston is holding off providing the public with copies of President George Benson's performance evaluations.
The College claims that there are "personal matters" included in the document and releasing it would be considered an invasion of privacy. On the other hand, half of Benson's salary comes from the state's tax dollars, he's a public official and this evaluation will be very influential when the College's Board of Trustees decides wether or not to extend Benson's contract.
The Post and Courier has the curious report.
