College of Charleston offering business administration MBA (updated x3)

Update May 10:

The Post and Courier has more information regarding the 13 month "fast-track" MBA program at the College of Charleston.

Included in the 13 month program is a summer "boot camp" to brush up on basic business skills, full-time day classes, and a three week work-abroad experience.

Update May 6:

The College of Charleston School of Business announced today approval of its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

The one-year MBA program will start this July with a “boot camp” for non-business undergraduate students. The first class enrolled in the full-time, day program will graduate in August 2011. The program will accommodate up to 35 students in its first year.

Update April 30:

If things go as planned, the College of Charleston's School of Business will be celebrating the addition of a master's of business administration degree to the College's repertoire.

According to the Charleston Regional Business Journal's article, the final step is a vote before the full S.C. Commission on Higher Education on May 6th.
