Two of the State Ports Authority's Columbus Street Terminal container cranes will be making a move upstream to the Wando Welch Terminal in Mount Pleasant.

Moving the 236-foot-tall cranes will require strategic planning in order to allow the massive structures to pass underneath the Ravenel Bridge.

The move is scheduled to take place later this year and has a price tag of $5 million.

The Post and Courier has the details.
