The deceased have been identified as Joshua Miller, 33, and James Minschew, 73, both of Folly Beach. Six others, including MIller's two young children, were injured in the accident.

First reporting: A fatal wreck involving three vehicles shut down Folly Road between Bowen's Island and Sol Legaree Road around 2 p.m. this afternoon.

Live 5 News reports that two people are dead and others are injured.

Traffic is backed up for miles and care are being rerouted around the scene. Police hope to have Folly Road reopened around 4 p.m.
