Forestry commission doesn't recommend fireworks ban
After a multi-week battle with the Hornet Fire, it may come as a surprise that the South Carolina Forestry Commission isn't in favor of fireworks bans.
Partially they feel this way because, statistically speaking, fireworks aren't as big of a problem for starting massive wild fires as burning yard debris is. The Sun News took a deeper look into this issue. Read it here.
