If that isn't enough to get you jazzed, maybe the dock dogs, cougars, hawks, reptiles, goats, monkeys and more that have arrived in town for the 29th annual Southeastern Wildlife Exposition are. There will be nature-themed events taking place all over town all weekend long.

Another way to soak in this amazing weather is by swinging by one of three opening day baseball games. The College of Charleston, The Citadel and Charleston Southern all have games on Friday afternoon.

If running is your thing, the College of Charleston Masters of Environmental Studies Student Association (MESSA) is hosting the 8K for H20, an 8K run on February 19th at 9 a.m, in front of the Folly Fishing Pier.

Enjoy the evening air at Freshfields VIllage's Art & Wine Walk on Friday from from 4 until 7 p.m.

Is there are beardy man in your life? Are you a beardy man yourself? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you should hit up the 2nd Annual Southeastern Beard & Moustache Championships brought to you by the Holy City Beard & Moustache Society.

As far as entertainment goes, Charleston Stage will be performing "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" at the Dock Street Theatre all weekend long. Also, Neil Hambuger, "America's Funnyman," is playing West Ashley's own Tin Roof on Sunday.

Local children's charity Chase After a Cure is having their annual fundraising gala this weekend to raise money for neuroblastoma research to benefit the MUSC Children's Hospital. Great event, great cause.
