Stakes rise as green laser pointer issue escalates

There are some news stories that, while they're pertinent to Grand Strand life, we're just tired of reporting.  Green lasers officially fall into that category, yet still the problem is escalating.

Another Coast Guard rescue mission was interrupted and we can't help but to wonder what will ultimately put a stop to nuisance the laser pointers cause.  New law? Or will it take something more along the lines of a reduction in service provided to the Grand Strand by the Coast Guard to drive the point home? This article from the Rock Hill Herald has a good wrap-up of the information, as well as interviews with those affected and details about FAA intervention.
