Trident Technical College plans to increase tuition next year by about 3.4 percent, school officials said. The Post and Courier reports:

Tuition at Trident Technical College will jump 3.4 percent next year, mostly to compensate for increased operating costs, according to school officials.

Next year, tuition for full-time students from Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties will be $3,330, up from $3,220 this year. Tuition for South Carolina residents who live outside of those counties will be $3,696 next year, while out-of-state students will pay $6,308.
