Woman's leap from Stono Bridge deemed a suicide

A Johns Island woman died Sunday after leaping to her death from the top of the Stono Bridge that connects James Island to Johns Island.
According to a Charleston County Coroner, Cynthia Springs, 49, died from drowning. The death has been ruled a suicide.
