Remnant Productions in "The Reunion: A Lil Mo’ Motown Magic"

North Charleston Kicks Off Dinner Theatre Series with Motown Musical on September 12

Another fabulous season of dinner theatre kicks off in North Charleston on Friday, September 12, with The Reunion: A Lil Mo’ Motown Magic presented by Donna Lee Williams and Remnant Productions. The original production features drama, laughs, and a variety of Motown music favorites presented by some of the most talented actors and musicians in the Lowcountry.  Dinner for the evening is catered by Embassy Suites and includes an entrée of sage buttered and roasted slices of pork tenderloin with mustard & caper sauce. Tickets are on sale until Tuesday, September 9.

Presented as a follow up to the original play, Mo’ Motown Magic, performed during the 2011/12 North Charleston Dinner Theatre Series, The Reunion features the same unforgettable characters and lively musical numbers. The old gang gets together to find that the local senior center has lost their headliner for the weekend’s Soul Café Cabaret.  Full of passion and compassion, the Mo’ Motown Magic crew quickly decides that one way or another, the show must go on. The production promises to lift your spirits and cause you to shake, rattle and roll with the smooth sounds of Motown and many favorite soul hits from the 60s and 70s.
