Clemson University and the University of South Carolina are taking their rivalry off the field in the first-ever fundraising challenge between the two schools.

The schools are competing to see which one can net the most donors to its annual fund between October 6 and the end of the year.
People donating to Clemson before Friday, November 13, will be entered into a drawing for two tickets to the Clemson-USC football game in Columbia.

With state support decreasing this past year, both universities are in need of donations, and a competition like this is a fun way to get students, alumni and fans excited about showing their loyalty and supporting their school.
