The Charleston Friends of the Library has officially been named as one of the 500 finalists in Toyota's 100 Cars for Good program.

The program will award cars to 100 nonprofit organizations based on public votes starting Monday, May 9th. For 100 days, Toyota's Facebook page will feature five nonprofit organizations each and every day. Page visitors can vote once a day for the nonprofit that they think should win a new Toyota vehicle.

Want to give the Charleston Friends of the Library your vote so they can win a brand-new Toyota Prius? Be sure to visit Toyota's Facebook page on Wednesday, August 3rd. If the local organization wins, they plan on using the vehicle for visits to its 16 branches, transporting goods to and from book sales, and community outreach.

So get out your calendar, flip to August, and write yourself a reminder to vote for the Charleston Friends of the Library!
