Take home artwork made from the heart during CREATO before Spoleto, a special fundraiser scheduled to run May 15 – 22.  The unique, online art auction of pieces produced by WINGS kids will help kick off the Spoleto season in Charleston.

Artwork will be live at www.32auctions.com/CREATObeforeSpoleto on May 15 at 9 a.m. Online bidding is secure, and the artwork earning the most bids will be displayed downtown during Spoleto at the Charleston County Public Library (68 Calhoun St).

Groups of WINGS kids have created the 12 works of art during their weekly “WildWINGS” time to be auctioned off online. This 90-minute session of games, discussions and role-playing helps students comprehend the relationship between thoughts, emotions and actions. “And what better way for us to connect those lessons than through art,” said Liz Mester, Director of Development for WINGS.
