Post and Courier takes aim at I-526 plan for James and Johns island

In an editorial The Post and Courier is voicing many criticisms of the proposed plan for I-526 to connect Johns and James islands.

Mainly they don't seem to be too hot on the plan to go with a "parkway" style with stoplights, intersections, and lower speeds instead of a more traditional interstate system of closed access and high speed.

But moreover they're telling the S.C. DOT that they should do more to bring public meetings about the plan to the island and not just have two in downtown Charleston.

And that second point makes perfect sense to me.
