Photo of the Day: The Circular Congregational Church

Image by Flickr user skylitup The Circular Congregational Church has some lovely curves.

The Circular Congregational Church on Meeting Street in downtown Charleston along with its graveyard are seen in these shots by Flickr user "skylitup".

The church at 150 Meeting Street traces its routes back to 1680, but the current building was built in 1890 to replace the previous church that was destroyed by Charleston's great December fire of 1861.

For more on the church's history I'll point you to its website.
