North Charleston woman winner in Obama design contest

The winning design.

If you didn't know, President Barack Obama's political website has a merchandise section and those in charge recently held a "Runway to Win" design contest.

North Charleston's Laurel Stender entered her design, and on July 17 she heard she heard that her design was a winner.

Check it out (or buy it for $30) over here, and see more wining designs here.

ABC News 4 caught up with Stender for a brief interview about her excitement and enthusiasm over the win and the campaign.

The Savannah College of Art and Design also announced the win and listed Stender as a MFA graphic design student.
