Calls grow for a ban on eating bass from S.C. lakes due to mercury

While South Carolina has warnings to not eat or limit how much you eat of certain types of fish from specific waterbodies, the state's DHEC has been reluctant to issue a statewide ban on eating bass due to widespread mercury contamination.
Well, The (Rock Hill) Herald has penned an editorial saying it's time; read it here.
DHEC has faced much criticism in the past for being too weak kneed and politically weak.
