Despite the disaster in the Gulf, South Carolina's offshore drilling debate still brewing

The debate over drilling for oil and gas off South Carolina's coast has been going for some time now, and despite the recent disaster in the Gulf the local debate is far from dead.

Bill Davis over at S.C. Statehouse Report has done a really nice job rounding out the latest thoughts in the debate and how one of the biggest challenges will be getting South Carolina ready should an oil spill happen in a state north of us.
