Legislator introduces gas cap bill (Update: Residents to weigh-in on proposal)

Update 8/24: Myrtle Beach residents can weigh-in on the proposed gas cap legislation this evening.

The public meeting will be held at 7:00pm at the 600 Building on the Myrtle Beach campus of Horry Georgetown Technical College. For more information and the full write-up on this event head over to The Sun News.

First Report 4/28: Legislator, Dick Elliott introduced a bill that is designed to help with our pain at the pump. 

A piece of legislation was introduced Wednesday that would cap the price of gas at whatever the wholesale price is on June 1. While this sounds great for our wallets and we would love to see this happen, we're not sure of the likelihood of the bill.
