The recently passed state budget requires Gov. Mark Sanford to request the $700 million in stimulus money by Monday, May 25. But The Associated Press is saying Sanford will let that deadline pass.

Now, keep in mind that's the Legislature's deadline, there's a second federal deadline that comes on June 17.
