Sanford stands strong, other lawmakers chuckle

The Greenville News reports that Sanford is feeling more focused on the job and is saying he'll have greater voice in the General Assembly than he did at the end of the stimulus debate.

On the flip side, after repeated requests for his resignation, public shame, a slew of political cartoons, and general lack of public and political support -- as Senator Larry Martin puts it, Sanford's argument belongs in "fantasyland."
