The sons of two South Carolinian political legends are considering entering the race for the First Congressional District seat.

Paul Thurmond, son of the late ate U.S. Sen. Strom Thurmond is weighing the option while Carroll “Tumpy” Campbell, son of the late Gov. Carroll Campbell has already joined the race.
