Middleton Place Hounds was recognized as a member of the MFHA in January 1977. The primary hunt country consists of land in Charleston and Dorchester Counties, containing over 7,000 acres on Middleton Place and Millbrook Plantation. Hunting days are Sunday and Tuesday and Thursday as announced. Middleton Place Hounds is primarily a drag hunt and maintains a kennel of approximately fifty foxhounds, including crossbred and English foxhounds. The hounds are treated with love and kindness by our kennelman and huntsman.
