Iron Gate’s mission is to create the finest, handcrafted spirits utilizing local ingredient and timeless, authentic processes. Our values insist we share the history, art, and opportunity that we believe our trade provides. We accomplish this mission by partnering with and supporting local farmers and producers, teaching and welcoming the public into our distillery, and creating education opportunities for aspiring distillers. As a company and as individuals we are guided by and committed to uncompromised quality for our consumers, loyalty to our intangible heritage, and a passion for perfection.
Our goal, simply put, is to raise the funds necessary to make Iron Gate Distillery a reality. We have been searching for the last seven months for an equity partner to provide startup funding but haven't found success to this point. Iron Gate is our dream. The three of us found ourselves unemployed simultaneously, and decided to go to work for ourselves and our families and turn pub talk into a reality. We've been blessed to this point and we've had some help from our fans and received some amazing supporter. We've developed a proven strategy and plan to make Iron Gate successful, but your help is the key to making the wheels start to turn.
Your donation helps build Iron Gate Distillery piece by piece. Every dollar we receive is being dedicated to equipment (stills, mash tanks, etc.) It will also allow us to purchase the raw SC grown ingredients needed to produce our profuct (corn and grains currently being grown by our friends at www.myers-farms.com in Bowman, SC.)
