Highrollers return home for the upcoming Chucktown Throwdown

Feel like there has been a lack of the Lowcountry Highrollers' hard-hitting flat track action in your life? Turn that frown upside down because all of your favorite roller girls are hitting the track for Chucktown Throwdown on Saturday, October 8th at The Citadel's McAlister Field House.

The Lowcountry Highrollers All-Stars start the day with a 4 p.m. bout versus Cape Fear Roller Girlsfrom Wilmington, N.C. Then it’s the home team championship with the Swamp Foxes, the Ashley Riverdolls and the Holy City Heartbreakers at 5:30 p.m.

There will be beer. there will be music, there will be entertainment fo the kids, and there will be food. Keep partying afterward at Suede Supper Club, located at 816 Johnnie Dodds Boulevard in Mount Pleasant.

Bout admission is $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children 10 and younger get in free. A portion of proceeds will benefit My Sister’s House, the only women’s shelter serving domestic violence victims in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties.
