Local personal training studio, Shaping Concepts, is challenging locals to sheds pounds while assisting poverty stricken members of the community.

Inspired by NBC's The Biggest Loser series, the weight loss competition is offering Charleston's biggest loser a $500 grand prize. Joining the competition costs only $30, all of which will be donated to North Charleston's Dream Center Clinic which provides routine, outpatient health and wellness services to the medically underserved residents of the North Charleston and Hanahan areas of South Carolina.
