Charleston County Deputy Coroner Kelly Myers has identified the man who died yesterday as Wilfredo Barrios Jaldin, 42, of Bolivia.

First reporting:

One man is dead and another sustained injuries after scaffolding collapsed under them while working at the Laurens Place condominiums beside the Charleston Maritime Center in downtown Charleston.

The accident occurred around 4 p.m. yesterday. The man who died plunged to the ground and was pronounced dead at the scene while the other fell into the Charleston Harbor.
