 The  11th ranked Coastal Carolina Chanticleers men's soccer team season has come to a close with a loss to the University of North Carolina. 

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers took the top ranked North Carolina Tar Heels to the limit. Scoring the first goal, CCU had UNC on their heels as they entered into the second period. However, the Tar Heels quickly fought back and took the lead. When the final whistle blew the score of 3-2 was in UNC's favor.

The NCAA tournament continues as UNC now takes on the Indiana Hoosiers in the third round of the tournament. Even though the Chants closed out their season with a loss their overall record of 18-4 is impressive.
