In the first away game since beating LSU at home, Coastal Carolina Chanticleers made the road trip to Clemson last night and surprised some Tiger fans.

CCU head coach Cliff Ellis coached the Tigers back in the late 80's and was given a plaque before the game started. Adding to the excitement, the Chants won by just one point just before the final buzzer sounded. I'll point you to Grand Strand Sports Report for the game recap. The Sun News sent Ryan Young to Littlejohn Coliseum and his detailed write-up is here.

The Chanticleers basketball program remains undefeated for the season. Twitter fired up on the news of the victory and buzzed well into the morning. The social media recap is below.
