Garcia Suspended Indefinitely (update: reinstated)

First Report 4/6: The University of South Carolina might be scrambling for a winning season now that their quarterback, Stephen Garcia has been suspended indefinitely.

 Former Gamecock and NFL linebacker Corey Miller, who works in sports radio in Columbia, tweeted that the suspension was the result of Garcia getting in trouble at an athletic leadership meeting

The Sun News adds that, 

It is Garcia's fifth suspension - and second this spring - since arriving on campus in January 2007.

and

Garcia has struggled to stay out of trouble throughout his career. He came to South Carolina as a highly coveted prospect, yet was arrested twice his first two month at school.

We're not sure how well the Gamecocks will fair this year without Garcia, who helped to secure them the  SEC East title this past season. There might be little joy in William-Brice Stadium this year.
