The U.S. women's national soccer team defeated Canada 1-0 last night, July 22, at Daniel Island's Blackbaud Stadium.

The game winning goal came in the 89th minute of play from 18 year old Christine Naim, the youngest player to player to score for the U.S. since 2002. This was the third time the U.S. and Canada have met this season; the U.S. has been victorious every time.
