Tickets on Sale Feb. 7 for Charleston Beer Garden Benefiting Lowcountry AIDS Services

Beer lovers will gather at The Grove at Patriots Point to celebrate and salute the suds during the fifth annual Charleston Beer Garden. Tickets go on sale this Sunday, Feb. 7 for a one-week pre-sale rate of $15 for general admission or $35 for VIP.

Set for noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, the festival is a fundraiser for Lowcountry AIDS Services. Last fall, LAS announced it had partnered with Gusto Group to produce Charleston’s largest pop-up beer garden. Proceeds from the event will support LAS in its work helping people living with HIV/AIDS in the greater Charleston area as well as its community outreach, education and prevention programs.

Craft beer lovers can spend the day enjoying a wide variety of craft brews along with live music, food trucks and vendors. An expanded Homebrewers’ Village is on tap for this year’s festival, along with Beer Games that will test feasts of knowledge, brawn and skill.

This year promises to include the largest selection yet of local, regional and favorite breweries. More than 20 craft breweries will showcase more than 40 different beers, giving beer lovers the chance to explore old favorites and new brews.

Ticket prices increase to early bird prices on Feb. 15 to $20 general admission / $40 VIP. Regular price tickets begin March 15. General admission tickets include entrance to the festival, a commemorative festival mug, five beer tickets, and entertainment. VIP tickets include 15 beer tickets, plus a separate VIP entrance, access to the VIP Oasis and VIP swag bag. This event is for ages 21 and up only.
