Physical education teach Joseph Hamilton was arrested after he hit a 14-year-old R.D. Schroder Middle School student on January 22.

For his part, Hamilton says he felt threatened after he was harassed by two students and struck in the face by one.

Both Hamilton and two students involved have been charged.
