Two more to serve time in 2006 fatal robbery of carnival worker

Sandra Barnes, and Alana Niesen have been convicted in connection with the 2006 armed robbery and murder of carnival worker Robert Vargo.

Vargo was shot in the head at the Budget Inn at 6155 Fain Street.

The two convictions mean four people are serving time in connection with the incident:
Sandra Barnes got 10 years for armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and forgery.
Alana Niesen got 10 years for armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and crack cocaine possession.
Lennie Mickey got 35 years for armed robbery charges.
Shawn Demetrius Phillips was found guilty in the homicide, and sentenced to 40 years.
