A recipe created by a team including Burke High School students is one of 15 semifinalists of a healthy lunch competition.

The competition was sponsored by Let's Move!, First Lady Michelle Obama's campaign to abolish childhood obesity.

The South Carolina team included, in addition to Burke students, Craig Deihl, executive chef at Cypress Restaurant; nutritionists from MUSC; and a local nonprofit group. The recipe, names confetti soup, is a yummy combo of black-eyed peas, ham, carrots, and more.
