$13 stimulus bonus: More than just pocket change?
Apparently, as a result of the stimulus package, most South Carolinians will receive around $13 extra on their paychecks, which they will hopefully spend to boost the economy, but people have different plans for the extra cash.
The Post and Courier discusses some cases of people and their plans for the bonus:
- Bill Davy plans to replace his old bed
It seems like no one is planning on spending the money on pure pleasure, but rather on necessity.
People have expressed that the bonus will have little effect on their lifestyles, but $52 dollars per month is significant. That could cover a cell phone, cable, water, or electric bill.
