On Saturday 63 teams turned out for the Piccolo Spoleto Sand Sculpting Competition at the Front Beach on the Isle of Palms.

Best in Show was "Room With a View" by the Embler family team (Marc, Mical, Mitch, and Kim). Greg Smith, Neil Haldruup, and Chris Miller won the Most Creative with "Spoleto Sam."
