Fire! The cannons blazed during the Charleston Harborfest

Image by Nate Mallard/TheDigitel Yes, this is the noise you've been hearing all day.

If you've been anywhere near East Bay and Calhoun in downtown Charleston this weekend, then you know what's going on: The Charleston Harborfest.

While most of the attention is on the grand tall ships that blew into town, there were still plenty of other activities to check out ... like cannons.

If you didn't make it out this year, know that the festival just wrapped up but you can live vicariously through the video above of the daily canon demonstrations that happened in the Pirate Village on Anson Field.

And don't forget you can still see all of the big ships head back out to sea tomorrow at 4 p.m. -- Here's where the Festival recommends watching from.
