Update January 4, 2011: Yes, it's cold. We told you so.

We also told you that we should be well into the 60's by Saturday. The National Weather Service forecast still agrees. Not only that, nothing but sunshine is in the forecast for the next seven days.

First Report: Enjoy your 70-degree New Year's Day today, Myrtle Beach. We'll be paying for it on Tuesday when the daytime high will barely break 40.

According to the National Weather Service, the lowest temperatures of the season will hit us in the next couple days. Evening temperatures will be in the teens. The good news is we're expected to be back in the 60's by next weekend.
