No immediate relief from wildfire smoke

James Brooks
Let's hope the smoke in Myrtle Beach doesn't get as bad as this.

Until we get some much needed rain, we're going to continue to experience wafts of wildfire smoke.

For the past several weeks Grand Strand residents have been dealing with wildfire smoke including winds shifting it in from Georgia and North Carolina.. The smoke is mostly from our local fires. The current weather forecast still isn't showing any appreciable precipitation for several days. The Sun News has more details.
