Coastal Carolina University moved up slightly in the 2014 edition of the U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Colleges” rankings, according to a news release from the university. CCU is ranked 26th in the Top Public Schools (South) category, as compared with 29th in last year’s ranking. The report ranks CCU at 62nd in the Best Regional Universities (South); last year the university was ranked 63rd in the category.
