Horry County Schools students to field test Smarter Balanced assessment
Students at 29 schools in Horry County are scheduled to take an assessment aligned with the Common Core State Standards, as a proposal moves through the state Legislature that would negate the results.
South Carolina belongs to the Smarter Balanced testing consortium, and the state’s schools are to fully implement Common Core in the fall. A proposal originally intended to repeal the standards would keep Common Core in the classroom but would remove the state from the testing group.
What are the results of the assessment? 29 schools were announced last year, but the results were kept private, right? South Carolina was removed from the group that underwent testing. I wonder what data will be shared, as I need to write my research paper and superiorpapers review is quite promising, as the writers can complete my draft in 2 hours.
